Described as a sharp communicator with an eye for detail, Sufra brings forth a unique blend of knowledge and skill. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics along with a certification in Human Resources Management. Pivoting from the conventional path, she has professionally pursued a career in content since 2015. Over the years, she has worked as a writer and editor across various content verticals, domains, and sectors for both domestic and international clients. Her exposure to different working environments has helped her develop a diverse perspective and a strong sense of people interaction.

 

She took a career break to prepare for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. She believes the journey opened up a new world of knowledge, offering her a more nuanced understanding of various topics.

 

Sufra has been passionate about helping others since a young age. But it was during the pandemic, through extensive volunteering and later participating in the UN National Conversations 2021, that she truly realised the deep gratification that social work, advocacy, and impact bring her. She is a firm believer in humanism, gender justice, equality of opportunity, environmental awareness, and sustainability.

 

Sufra’s journey at LedBy began as a Teaching Assistant, a role that allowed her to learn, contribute, and grow within the organization. She found joy in participating in LedBy's mission and vision. Over time, her dedication and genuine passion for the work led her to take on the position of Programs Coordinator. She strongly believes that you rise by lifting others.

 

In her downtime, she enjoys reading, penning poetry, admiring nature, and capturing its beauty through her lens. She has an insatiable curiosity and loves gathering knowledge. She is intrigued by human anatomy and the scientific advancements in the field, the endless wonder of the universe, psychology and human interaction, history, culture, language, and our beautiful planet.
