Aleya Akbar

Aleya Akbar was born in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. She is an MBA from Indian Institute of Forest management, Bhopal and an Engineering graduate with Computer Science specialization. She has over 7 years of experience in program management, stakeholder management, with keen interest in problem-solving, strategy and data analysis. She has worked with Chhattisgarh state Government, PRADAN and Kudumbashree to make an impact in development sector. She has published paper on renewable energy resource and currently as a Policy scholar candidate at Global Governance Initiative honing her consulting skills.
She has a Defence background and as a lady, she like to see more women joining the mainstream workforce without limiting themselves with location or family responsibilities. She tries her best to support women around her by motivating and supporting them to meet their career aspirations.
She is keen to work in an area that can impact a larger group of society. Personally, she likes to read about the journey of influential people around the globe.
