Seerat Malik

Seerat Malik, an engineering student from Srinagar, Kashmir, completed her graduation in civil engineering from NIT, Srinagar. She is presently pursuing M. Tech in Geotechnical Engineering from College of Engineering, Pune, India. Seerat has been an active member of various sporting and educational clubs such as Astrology club, Boat club, among others, responsible for organizing various college events. Amid strict lockdown in 2020 in view of Covid-19 pandemic, Seerat went on to volunteer with Chinar International's Teach with ChinarX program. With the help of Chinar, she established a community school in her locality to make up for the loss of the academic year of school-going children. Besides her academic record, she believes in the importance of mental health and runs an online page to highlight its importance and coping mechanism in terms of artwork such as Doodling, Mandala art, Quilling, and Cooking. On other days, she could be seen either traveling to unexplored places or reading murder mysteries and suspense thrillers. Seerat considers herself a proud parent of two cats.
