Sahreen Shamim

Sahreen Shamim, born and raised in Kashmir, is currently working as a corporate social responsibility professional in Noida. Sahreen did her post-graduation in Economics and is proficient with Statistics and Mathematics which were her major subjects alongside economics. Sahreen, by her work, loves making education accessible to less privileged children. Sahreen, on odd days, can be seen organizing fundraisers to support charities. Sahreen is set to join Oxford University to pursue a course on Public Policy. Learned from experience, she wants to focus on minority rights, humanitarian access in conflict zones, education, and generating livelihood. Her belief that a pen is mightier than a sword inspires her to take up further studies to provide solutions backed by knowledge and experience towards the Kashmir issue.
