Know the Speaker:
Dr. Asad Sahir is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. He served as its first Head - Professional Development for the Career Development and Corporate Relations Centre and played an important role in establishing it, with his colleagues. He holds a PhD from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, US and his previous professional experiences include working with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Golden CO and with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited's Corporate R&D Centre. Recently Dr. Sahir has been awarded the 2022 Society of Women Engineers We Local Engaged Advocate Award for promoting Women in STEM.
