Maryam Ridha Ahmad is a postgraduate student of Geography at Aligarh Muslim University. Passionate about environmental and urban studies, she has been involved in academic research on network analysis, urban green space and groundwater contamination, aspiring to contribute meaningfully for sustainable urban development and geographic policy research. She is a teacher at heart volunteering at Sarvam Foundation as an English teacher and guide of young girls interning at the La Meridian Hotel, Delhi. Apart from the academia, she is a great baker taking every chance to add a little sweetness into the life of others and dreams to open a bakery shop in the future. She has a deep love for animals especially cats. Maryam hopes to be the change her family and community need empowering others around her.
