Bareera Sumbul holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from Aligarh Muslim University. Her academic interests focus on literature, translation, and the intersections of language and culture. Passionate about multilingualism, she is currently learning Turkish and intends to pursue Persian and Arabic in the future, viewing each language as a gateway to new literary and cultural worlds. Alongside her academic pursuits, she is an avid reader and attentive observer, with a particular interest in photography as a medium for capturing detail and nuance. She engages in embroidery, which she values both as a creative practice and as a form of contemplative therapy. She also has a deep appreciation for cultural history, particularly vintage objects such as letters and stamps, which reflect her interest in memory, aesthetics, and material culture.
