Anshira K K is a postgraduate student of Development Studies at IIT Madras. She holds an MA in Sociology from the University of Calicut, Kerala, where she graduated first rank, and has also completed Wafiyya, an integrated Islamic and secular course. With three years of experience as a teacher and mentor at an Islamic women’s college, and a diploma in psychological counselling, she brings together academic learning and compassionate guidance. Anshira is also a published poet with four Malayalam collections and writings in English, and works as a correspondent for her department magazine. She aspires to pursue a PhD in Public Policy, with the aim of contributing to meaningful social change.
