Aliya Akbar was born and brought up in Aligarh. She is pursuing her Bachelor’s in Linguistics and English Literature from Aligarh Muslim University. She has worked across multiple editorial and content domains through internships at The Hindu, Ling Magazine, and Harah Mann Luxury Consultancy, contributing to research-driven articles, creative writing, and content strategy. In addition to her internships, she has presented research papers at St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, and Women’s College, AMU, and her poems and articles have been published in The Aligarh Magazine, Raleigh Literary Society, and Sirene Publications. Outside of academics, she enjoys writing poetry, curating digital content, and reading books.
