Afifa is a passionate science enthusiast currently pursuing her PhD in Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Debrecen, Hungary, under the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship. She completed her Master’s in Biotechnology from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, and aspires to contribute to research that helps people with rare diseases. A practising Muslimah, Afifa finds strength and purpose in her connection with Allah, which guides her in both her academic journey and personal growth. Beyond science, she enjoys photography, sports, and spending time with her cats. A café lover, she delights in exploring cozy spots serving coffee, fusion teas, and spicy, cheesy food. She also loves to dress up and express herself through modest fashion, finding beauty in simplicity and faith. When she’s not in the lab, Afifa enjoys binge watching her comfort shows, embracing a balance of devotion, curiosity, and creativity in everyday life.
