Zeerak is a law graduate from the Central University of Kashmir, currently preparing for the judiciary services examination. She is also enrolled as an advocate at the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, though her primary focus remains on her judicial aspirations. A lifelong learner, she has pursued numerous certificate courses in human rights, gender justice, international law, and legal research, constantly expanding her knowledge beyond formal education. She is currently applying for an LLM at the University of Kashmir to further deepen her academic foundation. Zeerak has worked on initiatives that make legal knowledge more accessible, including leading the E-Book on Illustrated Cases of the Supreme Court of India. She aspires to join the judiciary in the future and become an author, with a strong desire to pursue higher education. An avid reader, she enjoys both fiction and academic literature. As a LedBy Accelerator Fellow, she hopes to drive meaningful change, particularly for women and their education.
