Dr. Ishrat Batoola Naik, a resident of Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, holds a Ph.D. in Women’s Studies from Aligarh Muslim University. She was awarded the ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship in recognition of her research contributions in the field of gender and social justice. She has also qualified the State Eligibility Test (SET), demonstrating her academic competence in higher education and research.     Dr. Naik is actively involved in social development initiatives as a member, intern, and volunteer at Inclusive Features Foundation (NGO), working on issues of inclusion and empowerment. She is also part of Cohort 16 of the LedBy Foundation, a leadership program focused on advancing women’s representation and leadership.

Her professional interests lie at the intersection of gender studies, education, and social advocacy, with a strong commitment to inclusive development and community engagement.
