Hafsa is a dentist and a public health enthusiast, committed to serving communities through both clinical care and outreach initiatives. Her early involvement in various health camps and volunteer work—both online and in person nurtured her passion for public health and encouraged her to pursue it as a career. After graduation, she worked with an organization in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, gaining grassroots-level experience. She later served as a Junior Medical Officer under an ICMR project, where she developed a deeper understanding of health systems and research. Currently, she is an incoming master’s student in Public Health, eager to bridge practice with policy and community empowerment. Deeply drawn to everything about health—and equally enthusiastic about a good cup of chai—she brings warmth and curiosity to her work. She strives to live with self-compassion but not pride, continually growing while remaining grounded in her values.
