Sahar Shamim

Sahar Shamim is a consummate finance leader with over 12 years of experience providing cross functional leadership across multiple teams and initiatives and developing key financial models and insights required to inform long-term strategic investment decisions. Majority of her experience has been providing financial leadership in technology companies in Seattle and Silicon Valley. Her most recent assignment was at the Customer Experience and Success team, a multiple billion dollar unit at Microsoft. Her role required her to partner deeply with senior business leaders to contribute to critical decisions and drive business impact. Prior to that she delivered financial leadership to a rapidly growing global Amazon Web Services (AWS) networking organization. She partnered with the AWS Infrastructure team to provide strategic guidance on investments for regional expansions. She considers herself a global citizen with a deep passion for learning, mentoring young talent and experiencing different cultures through her travels. Sahar holds an MBA from Stanford University, a Masters in Commerce from University of Delhi and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
