Farkhanda Zahoor

Farkhanda Zahoor currently works as the Fundraising and Communications Manager at the Internet Freedom Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on advocacy, digital literacy, as well as sustained and strategic legal interventions to protect the digital rights of Indians. Farkhanda grew up in Kashmir and moved to New Delhi for college. She pursued her undergraduate studies in Economics at St. Stephen’s College, graduating with Honours. She then went to attain a Master's in Mass Communication from AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia. Prior to IFF, Farkhanda worked with the US Consulate in Chennai as their Communications Consultant. She is passionate about developing smart communications and strategy for organizations with a mission to do great work and affect social change.
