Shadma Ahmed

Shadma is a research scholar currently enrolled in the PhD program at the School of Social Work, TISS, Mumbai. Her research interests include exploring global childhood(s), working children, youth identity and politics, digital worlds, gender, and culture.

Before joining TISS, she worked with the training and research division at Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation. As a trained development practitioner, she demonstrates expertise in capacity building, knowledge management, policy analysis, research, and advocacy.

She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and an undergraduate degree in Economics, both from the University of Delhi.
