Sharmeen Ehtasham is an Hindustan Unilever Chevening Scholar 2022-23 and is currently an MSc student at the London School of Economics and Political Science, studying Media and Communications (Data and Society). She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a specialization in Marketing and HR, from Fore School of Management, Delhi, where she was the recipient of multiple educational scholarships. She began her career as a Brand Executive at Zee Music Company where she managed music projects for major production houses in India such as Dharma Productions, Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment. She went on to work as a Strategy Consultant for Kaavyanam Organics Pvt. Ltd. which was an organic agricultural start up having operations in Dungarpur, Rajasthan. Her work and interest in data analytics helped her become proficient in Excel, Tableau and SQL. Her latest professional endeavor was as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Consultant at Slam out Loud, a non-profit working to inculcate Socio-Emotional skills through art in under-privileged children. Her role involved creating and enhancing processes that monitor and evaluate program outcomes, assessing impact and reporting on the value created.
