Shaheen Shaikh

Shaheen Moinuddin Shaikh is a passionate advocate for health equity and gender empowerment, working as a Project Communication Assistant with the George Institute for Global Health. With a background in child development from the Community College Initiative Program in the U.S., Shaheen brings a strong focus on adolescent well-being, life skills education, and resilience-building for marginalized communities. Her professional journey includes impactful roles with organizations like Teach for India and the Antarang Foundation, where she developed content on gender equality and career guidance.

Through her work on projects like Anumati 2.0, Shaheen has empowered over 600 adolescents, focusing on mental health, healthy lifestyles, and substance abuse prevention. An alumna of the U.S. Department of State’s exchange programs and a Global Youth Ambassador for Theirworld, she aims to scale her impact on global platforms like the UN or Save the Children, where she aspires to drive policy changes and sustainable social impact.
