Rubina (no last name)

Rubina is from Udaipur, Rajasthan, but she has been living in Mumbai for the past two years. She came to Mumbai for a program at The Gender Lab and enjoyed it so much that she decided to continue her studies there. She is currently in her second year as a BA (Urdu) student at the Institution of Distance and Open Learning, Mumbai University, and she loves being part of the city's lively culture.

While working with "Feminism in India," She researched and learned a lot about feminist women. She wrote 5 articles and 4 articles were published on the FII (Feminism in India) website.

She has led workshops for girls on gender equality and leadership in Mumbai's schools and guided groups in doing community projects through The Gender Lab Fellowship.

Apart from this, She loves cats and hopes to have many of them one day. She also finds happiness in cooking and preparing meals for others, finding it to be a therapeutic experience.
