Risaal Amina Esa

Risaal holds an MSc in Environmental Science and Resource Management. She has a longstanding inclination toward developing practical solutions to pressing environmental challenges, with a focus on bridging the science-policy interface. She is an advocate for sustainable and low-impact living. Her academic interests are interdisciplinary, including circular economy, climate change and environmental health. Risaal has experience working on climate adaptation and resilience in agriculture, with skills in research and communications. She also enjoys learning languages and has a fascination for linguistics and etymology. Recently, Risaal was named one of 13 Finalists for the 2024 Rhodes Scholarship (India) to study at the University of Oxford. And Nature is her favourite escape.
