Ifrah Khan

Ifrah Khan is an aspiring Science student who is immensely interested in doing research. She has done her Masters and Bachelors in Biotechnology. As quoted by her professors, “She is productive at work, thinks critically, and is always curious to learn more. Additionally, she has exceptional communication skills, teamwork and inquisitiveness regarding various new findings and future aspects related to science." All these positive abilities also drove her to grasp her first opportunity to join a research project at the ICFRE-Arid Forest Research Institute (AFRI), Jodhpur, right after the completion of her Master’s degree. She worked as a Senior Research Fellow under the All India Coordinated Research Project to Study the Climate driven effects on Indian Forests through long term monitoring. Moreover, she has published various book chapters in distinguished Scientific Journals namely, Springer, Elsevier, etc. She has a wide range of interests, ranging from learning new languages to music, sketching, painting, photography and sports.
