Areefa Ali

Areefa Ali, a 26-year-old environmentalist, SDG activist, and founder of the Humanity First Foundation, is deeply committed to driving change through sustainable development, climate conservation, humanitarianism, and human rights advocacy. Based in Delhi, Areefa completed her post-graduation in Environmental Science (2021-2022) and her bachelor's in Biology (2018-2021). She embarked on her social impact journey at 19, volunteering extensively while balancing her studies. Her contributions include serving with the Clean India Mission, where she earned a district-level award, and as an intern for NITI Aayog's Saksham Bitiya Abhiyan, supporting girl empowerment in Bihar.

As a former NCC cadet and a second-best cadet awardee (NCC Naval S.W., Udaipur, 2019), Areefa's leadership has been demonstrated through roles like Program Manager with WWF India. Currently working with Zorba the Buddha in Delhi, she is recognized for her adaptability, composure under pressure, and passion for science, arts, and culture. She believes in inspiring others to create a sustainable future, achieving success through teamwork and resilience.
