Rubina, an accomplished scholar and researcher, holds an MPhil from Jawaharlal Nehru University, specializing in Women's Safety in India through e-Participation Platforms. Her dissertation explored digital ethics from a feminist perspective. Earlier, she completed her MA in Gender Studies from Ambedkar University, focusing on Televangelism and Muslim Women's issues. With a BA in German Studies, Rubina has a diverse academic background from JNU.

Her contributions extend beyond academia. Rubina has several publications, including a peer-reviewed journal article and a book chapter on women's safety in India. She has presented at national conferences on topics like mobile applications for women's safety and gender-based violence on the internet. Rubina has also engaged in policy discussions, notably on e-learning pedagogy post-COVID-19.

In her professional journey, Rubina interned at the Bharti Institute of Public Policy, Indian School of Business, contributing to research projects on government schemes. Her skills encompass qualitative research, policy analysis, and gender mainstreaming. Fluent in English, Hindi, and proficient in German, Rubina's commitment to her field is reflected in her memberships in 4S and as a founding member of the Digital Inclusion Research Forum.
