Sehar Qazi

Sehar Qazi is a photojournalist and documentary filmmaker based in Kashmir, India. Since 2020, she directed short documentary films, and short video stories highlighting mental health issues, social justice, gender and culture. She is passionate about narrating human stories using various storytelling formats, from writing and reporting to photography and editing. In 2021, she was selected for Google News Initiative & YouTube Creators Program for independent journalists a year-long programme. She has her own YouTube channel where she publishes documentaries highlighting various issues from India. She believes that women are powerful and should know their worth.
