Gurnaaz Kaur Sandhu
Chief Of Staff

Gurnaaz Kaur Sandhu works at the intersection of fundraising, communications, and community-centred storytelling. With experience across programme design, donor relations, strategic communication and cross-functional collaboration, she believes that resources and narratives when done with care can shift power and expand access for communities historically left out of opportunity.
At Saajha, she led donor engagement and communication processes with philanthropy and CSR partners, crafting reports, proposals, pitches, social media strategies, and organisational campaigns while building meaningful, long-term partnerships. She has facilitated field immersions, donor visits, community events, and organisational convenings — translating impact on the ground into compelling narratives that inspire partnership and investment. She has also worked across organisation-wide systems including HR, technology, operations, and events.
Previously at the Mentora Institute, she worked with global corporations on leadership development programmes, working across learning design, curriculum, quality assurance and client success. The experience strengthened her belief that behaviour change is possible when learning is rooted in empathy, practice, and action.
Her work is shaped by a deep respect for people and their stories and the belief that communication is not just language but the everyday practice of dignity and care. She enjoys writing that centres on women's voices, value-aligned partnerships, and environments where individuals and teams feel safe and seen. Beyond work, she finds joy in reading, spending time with her dog, and travelling.

“Authenticity isn't something that shows up overnight; it’s an everyday practice. And when you finally show up fully and fearlessly, you honour both your identity and the community of women that shaped it. ”
