Sana Farheen

Sana Farheen has recently graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a major in Economics and a minor in Mathematics and Computing. Consistently ranking at the top of her batch, she received multiple awards from the institution for her academic performance. Notably, she ranked second in GATE Economics 2021 as well. Motivated to apply her learnings, she spent a summer analyzing the sector-wise performance of Indian companies at the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. A project on commodity markets at the National Stock Exchange of India further expanded her horizons. She aspires to pursue a career tackling real-world problems through mathematical tools. To further this goal, Sana will soon join American Express as an analyst, where she spent the summer of 2020 as an intern. In her free time, she loves to surround herself with novels and keeps trying her hand at playing the piano though she often fails at it.
