Seema Rao

Seema Rao is presently working at Christian Medical College, Vellore as their legal officer. Prior to joining CMC as their in-house lawyer in 2019, Seema practiced in the Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court from the year 2009 till 2018. She represented the Government of India in the Supreme Court from the year 2012-2014, and worked with the Additional Solicitor General of India. She was part of a team representing the Government in various landmark cases during that time. She was also a consultant on a research project undertaken by a think-tank based in Delhi. Seema has an L.L.M in International Trade Law Contract and Dispute Resolutions from International Training Centre, International Labour Organization, University of Turin, Italy and a Masters in Business Laws from NLSIU, Bangalore.
