Naureen Khan is a communications specialist with vast experience in the non-profit sector. She is currently working with the European Corporate Governance Institute, Belgium, as a Communications and Events Officer and has previously spearheaded the digital communications for the Coalition for the International Criminal Court in the Hague, Oxfam International India and Amnesty International India. She has worked in the past on the issues of women's rights, education, health, disaster risk reduction, undertrials, human rights and international crimes. She holds a Master's degree in Convergent Journalism from the MCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia University in New Delhi, India. Her master's production, "I can't be mad at Allah", a narrative documentary on the Rohingya Muslims, has won a few awards and been nominated for national and international film festivals. Naureen believes that a simple yet strong communication can help embrace, empower and enlighten people towards finding solutions on critical issues and create impact when it's most needed.
