Shamailah Azam

Shamailah Azam hails from the capital city of New Delhi. She is enrolled in the M.Sc program in Aligarh Muslim University and has completed her Bachelor's degree in the year 2021. She is a 24 year young ;) GIS enthusiast (Geographic Information System) and is working towards her goal to become a part of the IIRS, ISRO, Dehradun ( the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing) by pursuing a master's degree in Geography with her subsidiary subjects being Chemistry and Geology. She has completed a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) from IIRS, ISRO, Dehradun, in the field of Geospatial Applications for Disaster Risk Management and a few other related courses from IIRS, Dehradun such as Remote Sensing of Land Degradation, Advances in SAR Polarimetry & Interferometry, RS ans GIS Application, and Earth Observation Satellites for Social, Environmental and Economic
Studies.
Her near future goal is to qualify for the Geo-information Science and Earth Observation course offered at IIRS, Dehradun. She hopes to fulfill her dreams my working tirelessly towards her goals.
