Shahvar Bano

Shahvar Bano is a postgraduate of gender studies from Jamia Millia Islamia. She has a keen interest in history, but her feet are also grounded in contemporary issues facing the world. She believes equity, diversity, and inclusion are not choices but necessities. She has been part of various community programs meant to provide education and basic computer and digital literacy to improve their access to basic human rights.
Her curiosity leads her to push herself as much as she can. Her creative outlets are calligraphy, music, sketching, and self-improvement. She loves to explore new domains- spirituality and fitness being among them. apart from this, she loves to interact with people from different experiences rooted in their cultures and traditions, as this helps them to broaden their horizons.
