Sifwa Mak

"Sifwa Mak is an aspiring political scientist passionate about change and human development. She has completed her Master of Philosophy focused on the intersection of state law and community laws in India, and Master of Arts in Political Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University located in New Delhi, India, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hindu College, University of Delhi. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate at the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Being a research professional, she is interested in scientific and development action research and policy engagement aiming to contribute to the process of democratisation, community development and education in the fast-changing diverse social ecosystem in multicultural societies with the advancement of digital technologies. She aspires to continue her academic journey in the field and contribute to national politics.

She works with Government and non-government organisations in the field of research and advocacy for socio-legal and political change, and also teaches Political Science to graduate and post-graduate students and write articles for online news portals, and magazines and work as a designer, occasionally. She also nourishes her passion for music and is keen on joining a musical ensemble to keep her love for Music alive.
