Her History teacher lamented that Saima was not interested in the past, the Literature teacher said she rolled her eyes at the sonnets and scoffed at metaphors, and she didn’t want to be another Indian doctor or engineer. Though appears to be an introvert at outset, Saima does want to be her own boss and set her own rules, so she opted to study Economics for her bachelors. Her ultimate goal is to become a professor. Additionally, she wants to bring her talents to bear in an endeavor that would lead to multiple economic avenues for women in developing countries, as well as doing something to help the economic systems they are operating in. Her intellectual quests, thus, have communal efforts. Besides academics, she is fond of clicking pictures of landscapes, reading fiction, and indulging in adorable k-dramas.
