Quratulain Qureshi

Quratulain is a Kashmiri native, who just got done with her Masters in English, from New Delhi, and has decide to stick to literature after experimenting here and there. She has loosely figured out what her calling is, and feels the most content after having written down a poem, that occurs to her on rare days. Qurat, however, does not enjoy labels and finds them overwhelming; she would not prefer being called a poet. Listening to good old ghazals and qawwalis is her favourite thing to do, especially when speech doesn't come to her easily. It is important for Qurat to engage in work that makes her feel fulfilled and adds some meaning to her life. She looks forward to finding a link and a fine balance between academia and creative writing.
