Ashrin Shaikh

"Ashrin Shaikh is currently preparing for civil services in Jamia Milia Islamia , New Delhi , India. She has a Bachelor degree(B.Tech) in Electronics and telecommunication. She is also pursuing MA in sociology from Pune University. She has worked with Atmabodh team as a part of the social project of the college to educate and empower women of the Banjara community. Ashrin is fond of Urdu poetry and poetry writing is her hobby. Ashrin likes to meet people from different communities and cultures and wants to explore their life stories. People's life experiences have been a motivating factor for her. Ashrin loves to apply sociological perspective wherever she can. She has aspiration to work for female education and child labour which she will accomplish by becoming an civil servant.
Ashrin is a person of faith with strong belief in God. She believes that what God has privileged her with, isn't hers to keep but, to give away, so that help reaches those who are underprivileged."
